Wheelchair accessibility is difficult in many places in Pompeii and impossible in others. So, You can visit only partially the Roman city, that was buried and forgotten for hundreds of years. Actually, in Pompeii – in the area of the amphitheatre - we have created a special itinerary for the guests in wheelchairs. Most buildings in that area are accessible, but in some cases, however, guests may need the assistance of a member of their party to fully maximize the quality of the guided visit. Obviously, Your private guide won’t get out of helping his visitors.

After an hour of free time for lunch - not included – You’ll go to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The Museum is fully accessible for visitors in wheelchairs

The National Archaeological Museum of Naples was built in the early 17th century, the palazzo housing this museum was chosen in 1777 by King Ferdinand I as the perfect home for the immense Farnese collection of ancient artefacts inherited from his grand –mother Elisabetta Farnese. Discoveries from Pompeii, Herculaneum and Stabiae were added later, making this one of the world’s best archaeological museums.
The museum is distributed over four floors with great masterpieces such as the Tirannicidi, Doriforo, Toro Farnese and the collection of paintings.

Then, You’ll have a short sightseeing of Naples to discover the mysteries of this fascinating city and afterwards You return to Your hotel or cruise ship.
