SANTA MARGHERITA LIGURE:

Santa Margherita Ligure is a touristic town located about 35 km southeast of Genoa, in the Tigullio traditional area. The main sights of Santa Margherita includes: The Castle, built by the Republic of Genoa in 1550 as defence against the increasing attacks of North African pirates. The Basilica of St. Margaret of Antiochia, built from 1658 on the remains of a 13th century church. Villa Durazzo complex, including two patrician villas, a 16th century castle and 17th century park. And the Abbazia della Cervara, a historically relevant abbey on the road to Portofino.

PORTOFINO:

Portofino is a small Italian fishing village and tourist resort located in the province of Genoa on the Italian Riviera. The town crowded round its small harbour is considered to be among the most beautiful Mediterranean ports.Dubbed by the Italian press the "richest promontory in Italy", Portofino is home to the mega-rich and powerful. The main sights of Portofino includes: the Castello Brown, the Church of San Martin (12th century), the church if St. George (housing some saints' relics) and the Oratory of Santa Maria Assunta, in Gothic style. The very nice Piazzetta by the harbour is lined with cafe and restaurant tables; a lovely place to relax with a drink and watch the boats go in and out of the port.

THIS TOUR WILL OPERATE RAIN OR SHINE, SO BE PREPARED FOR ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS.
